The lot features an original oil on stretched canvas painting of a Montana Buffalo over a Native American blanket pattern by multi-generation Montanan, Melanie Markovich. The painting is signed lower right and, on the back, dated 2023. The painting shows the Great American Bison / Buffalo of Montana and Yellowstone National Park in a wonderful winter coat placed atop of a stunning Native American Blanket pattern showing pastel colors and crosses. Melanie Markovich is an American artist, born and raised in Manhattan, Montana on her families third-generation farm. Her work captures the beauty of our ever-changing Montana Western landscape. She has been shown in various shows and galleries and is truly an up-and-coming artist in Bozeman, Montana. The painting is done along the sides as well allowing the painting to be hung without a frame. The painting is brand new and in great condition. Measures 4-inches by 4-inches and 1.5-inches deep.
