Featured in this lot is this original oil-on-board painting from Montana artist Carolyn Anderson. The artwork features a little girl sitting in a chair and shows the artist’s signature in the bottom right-hand corner. Carolyn Anderson, a nationally accomplished oil painter, has an impressive list of awards and honors to her name. In 1999, her work was awarded Best of Show and Artist's Choice awards at the CM Russell Art Auction and a Merit Award at the Northwest Rendezvous Show. Originally hailing from the Chicago area, she attended school at Illinois State University. A tour of service with the VISTA program brought her to Montana, where she eventually settled. The condition of this framed oil-on-board is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this framed oil-on-board are 13 1/8" x 10 1/8" and the visible art measures 11 5/8" x 8 5/8".
