Featured in this lot is this lot is this chainsaw carved white pine bear from Montana Carver circa 2021.This bear shows fantastic chainsaw craftsmanship with excellent attention to detail and texturing to the fur of the bear. The artist signature can be seen on the side of the base. White pine is often used as construction lumber and for building boats. This wood is also used for interior millwork and for carving. Crates and boxes may also be made out of white pine. The art of chainsaw carving is a fast-growing form of art that combines the modern technology of the chainsaw with the ancient art of woodcarving. The condition of this chainsaw carved bear is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this chainsaw carved bear are 90 1/2" x 24" x 24 1/2". Note: This piece has not yet been outdoor treated or sealed.
