This is a Montana Centennial belt buckle. The buckle was made by the world famous Montana Silversmiths in Columbus, Montana. The buckle is sterling silver plated and shows an 1889 Morgan silver dollar in the center. The Morgan silver dollar is mounted with Lady Liberty showing. The coin is accented by the gold tone rope border. Gold tone banners that read "Montana Centennial 1889-1989" are above and below the coin. The buckle shows very good, lightly used condition. The buckle is stamped "Montana Silversmith Columbus Montana Sterling Silver Plated" and numbered #4278-7500. The buckle measures 3 1/4" x 3 3/4".
