The artist’s signature can be seen on the side of the base. White pine is often used as construction lumber and for building boats. This wood is also used for interior millwork and for carving. Crates and boxes may also be made out of white pine. The art of chainsaw carving is a fast-growing form of art that combines the modern technology of the chainsaw with the ancient art of woodcarving.
