Featured in this lot are two (2) vintage Montana county maps, Jefferson and Valley (South Half), 1936, revised 1937. Each map reads, "Prepared by the Montana State Highway Department in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Bureau of Public Roads data obtained from State - Wide Highway Planning Survey". The maps reflect the entirety of both counties respectively. The legends for both maps contain information commonplace for most contemporary county maps with a few notable additions of "beet dumps", "youth and health camps", and "CCC camps".
Both maps are in amazingly good condition, slight age tanning noted. Jefferson county map measures 17.5"W x 19"L open, 8.75"W x 9.5"L folded; Valley county, (South Half) measures 17.5"W x 22.5"L open, 9"W x 11.25"L folded.
