The lot features a set of thick Indian tanned Buffalo hide moccasins with hard harness leather soles and beautiful floral beadwork from the Crow Native American Indians of Montana from the early- to mid-1900's. The large men's set shows thick Indian tanned Buffalo Bison hide with tie straps and tongue still intact. Overall, the set is trade thread sewn and the beadwork is all glass trade seed beads showing the iconic Crow Rose floral pattern in colors of light blue, red, Cheyenne pink, dark green, medium green, blue, and white. The beadwork shows slight loss but displays very well overall. The set shows a nice foot worn patina on the hard harness saddle leather bases and the tops show a slight stiffness; overall, they are in good condition and have some supple softness still retained. These moccasins measure 11.25" long by 4 1/4" at the widest and 2 3/4" tall.
