The lot features a set of hide gauntlet gloves with beadwork from the Crow Native American Indians of Montana, originating from the mid 1900's. The gloves are constructed of tanned hide with tassels across the bottom edge. The gauntlets of the gloves show a trade bead floral image of flowers and leaves using dark blue, yellow, orange, green, pink, red, and medium blue. The gauntlets are additionally decorated with medium cut tanned hide fringe, draping off of the outsides of the gauntlets. The gloves originate from the Crow Indians during the 19th century. The gloves shows good condition overall, with little to no wear. Each glove measures 14 1/4" long by 7 1/4" wide at the opening of the gloves.
