For your bidding pleasure, this lot features a set of Montana Crow Native American Indian hide beaded moccasins dating to the early 1900’s. The set shows tanned buckskin hide with a low ankle that has a fold down top, which holds the original hide tie straps. The tops show a floral design in all early glass trade seed beads of the correct early 1900’s period. The bead colors are corn yellow, medium green, red, clear pink heart, and white. The beads are sewn with trade thread. The bases are comprised of soft hide with a well-worn foot pattern patina, an honest sign of age. Each moccasin measures 9 1/2” by 3 12”.
