This is an excellent, fully beaded, large men's belt with buckle from the Montana Crow Native American Indians dating to the Mid-Centur1950's-. The belt is constructed of a heavy thick trade canvas, trade cloth calico with a distinctive Mid-Century Modern pattern and covered completely in glass trade seed beads in a geometric pattern, all being trade thread sewn. The large belt has an Indian tanned hide tie straps at the back. The belt has the larger slide belt buckle at the front. The belt and buckle have a sky padre blue background with triangular patterns in royal blue, corn yellow, orange, maroon, and orange. The piece has little to no bead loss and is in good condition for being mid-to-late-1900's. The belt itself is 3.75"W and the buckle is 4 7/8" x 4 3/8". The belt itself is 36"L with tie straps that are each approximately 9-10"L.
