Featured in this lot is a wonderful, fully beaded pipe bag from the Montana Crow Native American Indians, originating from the mid 1900's. The bag shows an Indian tanned hide construction with glass trade seed bead work across the front and long hand cut Indian tanned hide fringe across the bottom. The front of the bag shows a beaded blue background with a design of three eagle feathers behind crossed tomahawks in chalk white, dark brown, grey, and metallic silver. The top and bottom of the beadwork displays a geometric border in robin egg blue, dark blue, and red. The edge of the bag displays a blue beaded border. The beadwork displays wonderful construction, with the pipe bag measuring 27" long by 17" wide.
