Featured in this lot is a wonderful, fully beaded tanned hide flat bag from the Montana Crow Native American Indians, originating from the mid to late 1900's. The piece shows an Indian tanned hide construction with a zipper across the top of the purse and a beaded carry handle. The sides and top of the handle of the purse display fully beaded geometric designs in glass trade bead black, orange, white, and dark red beads. The beadwork was executed exceptionally and is in very good condition. The border of the sides displays geometric designs, with the bottom and interior sides showing bare tanned hide. The bag shows good condition overall and measures 11 1/2" long with handle and 8 1/4" wide.
