Included in this lot is a hand knitted, beaded flat bag from the Montana Crow Native American Indians, originating from the mid to late 1900's. The piece shows a knitted exterior with some light beadwork across the top and an interior with thick cloth lining. The knitted exterior displays colorful geometric designs in red, orange, light blue, yellow, black, purple, teal, and pink on a dark blue background. The flat bag displays a line of trade beads across the top using teal, yellow, amber, and dark blue. The bag is also decorated with leather tassels across the top and bottom with a leather handle. The piece shows good condition overall and measures 23 1/2" wide by 9" wide.
