Featured in this lot we have a custom Montana horse collar mirror. The horse collar is made from leather and provides the frame for the mirror. The collar comes with its original wood and steel hames along each side. Both hames show a brass ball and brass housing across the top of the hames. A collar such as this would have been used on a horse as it pulled a wagon or plow in the days before mechanized farm implements. The mirror shows good condition overall with some wear on the collar.
