Featured in this lot is this Montana Elevator Co. advertisements and Montana images. The are 12 total folding advertisements in this collection. There are a total of six Montana Elevator Company advertisements; the collection shows fold out pictures on one side and explanations to the pictures on the other, with titles as follows: "Winter Wheat Seeding", "Machinery Cost", "Rootrot or Browning Wheat", "Effect of Moisture Content on Protein Percentage", and two "Montana Sapphire Flour" advertisements. There are six total cut out, fold out images from Montana with titles as follows: "The Mechanization of Agriculture", "Cultivating Corn Ground in Southern Montana", "Montana Flour in Manila, P.I.", "Not an Unusual Scene in The Treasure State - Where Nature's Beauty Appeals to All", and "Special Train ‘It's the Wheat’" Flours at Harlowton Mill. Inset shows “Length of Train" and "Montana Bear Are Friendly". The condition of these advertisements is good, with wear consistent with age and storage, browning to the original pages, and some tears to the seams of the ads. There are two separate sizes of advertisement; the first is 11" x 17" and the smallest size of the cut advertisements is 8 1/2" x 15 3/4".
