Featured in this lot is this Montana ephemera collection with dates ranging from 1879 - 1897. There are sixteen total receipts and personal memos in this collection. The first grouping is a string of six memos and receipts from White Sulphur Springs Association and dated from 1891. The second is a pair of personal memos from The Leader Publishing Co. and dated from 1892. There are two receipts from Spencer, Mayn & Heirman. There is a personal storage memo from Babcock & Miles Wholesale and Retail. The next is a personal memo enclosing information on stock shares and dated in 1891. The next is a Belgrade Mercantile Co., General Merchandise out of Belgrade, Montana and dated 1892. There is a grouping of three letters dated from 1879 and 1892 from the United States Land Office and a personal memo from the office of White Brothers. The other two include a US telegraph from the War Department and H.H. Potting Groceries and Provisions for choice wines and liquors. The condition of this ephemera collection is good for the items’ age. The measurements of this collection range from 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" to 14" x 8 1/2".
