For your consideration is this collection of ephemera from Montana Territory, most prior to statehood, from 1872 to 1883. There are many items from Virginia City, Montana. These include bills: Wm. P. Armstrong Boots, Shoes and Leather Virginia City 1872, Harrington & Baker Leather and Findings Virginia City 1873, J. H. Baker Dealer in Boots and Shoes Virginia City, Montana 1879, W. P. Armstrong Clothing, Furnishing Goods, Hats and Caps Virginia City 1879, Greenhood, Bohm & Co. New York, San Francisco, Helena, Virginia City Wholesale and Retail Dealers 1879, his lot includes over 30 unique pieces the majority being from pre-statehood Montana Territory with the three oldest items being from when Virginia City was the Territorial capital, the balance from pre-statehood years. S. R. Buford was the region's largest grocery store in 1878, Alexander McKay was the earliest and most respected pioneer miner. This collection all sells together. Most items are in good condition especially considering their ages.
