Featured in this lot are eight pieces of Montana ephemera souvenirs circa 1950-80s. The first in this lot is a framed photo and thermometer featuring a calendar hanging off the back. The photo shows a lake scene in the background with beautiful, manicured lawns and bushes in the foreground. The top of the photo reads, "To our friends The Parker's Power, Montana" in black lettering. The calendar on the back of the frame only shows two months, November and December of 1953. The second piece is a small metal clip advertising for Big Horn Coal in Great Falls, Montana and shows a white, metal clip with an image of a mountain goat. It reads, "Big Horn Coal / Distributed by Yaw-Kinney / Phone 6797 - P.O. Box 1203 Great Falls, Mont." in pink lettering. The third piece is a small leather pouch or lighter cover from Ford Standard Motor Company Sales Service Center in Butte, Montana. this piece shows a pressed leather design of an older Ford car while the back reads, "Standard Motor Co. / Ford / Sales Service Butte, Montana". The fourth, fifth and sixth items in this lot are identical cardboard circles advertising for Miller Dairy. The cardboard circles read, "Miller Daily Pure Cream / Licensed Dairy Silver Star, Mont." in orange lettering. The seventh item in this lot is a small, metal coin bank advertising The Great Falls National Bank in Great Falls, Montana. This metal coin bank is slender and shows a small slot at the top for inserting coins and folded bills. It shows a white front with an image of the bank and reads, "The Great Falls National Bank / Strength and Service" in black lettering. The eighth and final piece is an Auto Antenna thermometer from Choteau Ford Sales in Choteau, Montana. This thermometer features a clip to attach to the car antenna so you could easily view the outside temperature from inside the car. It is noted on the informational card that rushing wind or vibrations from the car will not affect the temperature readings. The thermometer reads on the back "Choteau Ford Sales / Your Friendliest Ford Dealer / Choteau, Mont. Phone 466-5726". The pieces in this lot show good condition overall with some wear present from their age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage or wear is noted. The pieces measure from 1 5/8" L x 1 5/8" W to 4 1/8" L x 5 1/8" W. They have a collective weight of 8 ounces.
