Featured in this lot is this Montana fly fishing vintage creel, circa 1930-1940's. The creel features a tightly woven flat wicker, leather wrapped rims to the lids, support for the shoulder strap, and a fly wallet pocket shown on the front of the creel; on the top leather hinge is a fish sizing ruler. The condition of this creel is good. The strap for the lid closing buckle is broken, but the creel is in good overall condition. The flat wicker woven construction shows a patina consistent with age and usage. The measurements of this creel are 6" x 12 1/2" x 6 1/2".
