Featured in this lot is this Montana unheated sapphire, diamond, and 18k two tone gold ring with GIA and AIG paperwork. This ring features an electronically tested 18k rose and white gold construction and an 'AU750' stamp on the inside of the ring band. The ring features one prong set oval mixed cut natural unheated blue Montana sapphire that measures 8.85mm x 6.88mm x 3.54mm and shows a uniquely exact weight of 2.00 carats; the clarity is slightly included with type II medium dark and slightly grayish/ blue color and a very good cut grade. This sapphire was graded loose prior to setting in the GIA laboratory and shows no indication of being heat treated. The center stone is profusely decorated with 44 prong set round brilliant cut diamonds in a double halo design with measurements of 1.60mm - 1.40mm x 0.90mm, an approximate total weight of 0.58 carats, a VS2 - SI2 clarity, and a color gradient of E - G. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Sapphire Grading Report#: 2215210368. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000721114020) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $10,100.00. The ring size is US 6 1/4.
