Featured in this lot is a very old Montana steer skull that has been hand painted Dole circa 1979. The steer skull features a wonderfully and professionally crafted taxidermy construction. The skull shows a hand-painted decoration of a tracker with a rifle in his hand and woods in the distance. The skull is signed in the bottom right hand corner and dated '79'. The condition of this steer skull is good with a petrified look and a browning to the skull but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this skull are 19 1/2" x 21 3/4" x 7".*
