The novel is a personal account of ten years in the sporting life, and includes eighteen essays, ranging from fly fishing, sailing, to cowboying. The second novel is titled "Keep the Change", and is housed in its original slip cover. The novel is additionally signed by the author, and number 17/150. The novel is a picaresque and heartbreaking adventures of Joe Starling, one of the last great American romantic heroes, are seen in this story of his quest for his roots and his rightful inheritance. The last novel is a signed 1st Edition issue of Ivan Doig's "This House of Sky - Landscapes of a Western Mind" , which is a memoir of Doig's early life in Montana. Overall, the collection shows Very-Good, like new condition. "An Outside Chance" includes its original dust jacket which is further protected by a mylar plastic covering. When inserted into its slip cover, "Keep the Change" measures 9" x 5 7/8" x 1 1/8".
