Featured in this lot is this Montana Missoula and Butte contestant tags circa 1920's. There are two contestant tags in this collection. The first is from Missoula, MT from the University of Montana State University Missoula and is for an Interscholastic Meet on May 9-10-11 1923 and is numbered: 168 on a semi cloth sheet. The second is a track contestant from Butte, MT and is from the Mining District Track Meet in 1922 and is numbered: 107. The condition of these Montana track meet contestant numbers is well preserved with some fading due to age but otherwise are in well preserved condition. The measurements of the contestant numbers is 8 3/4" x 6 7/8" and 11 1/2" x 7".
