For your consideration is this collection of four Montana Hotel, Motel, and Inn key FOBs. The first is Hotel Lyall out of Bozeman, Montana, for room number 25; it shows an older faux leather composite construction. The second is a green plastic key FOB from Mountain Pine Motel out of East Glacier Park, Montana. The third is a maroon plastic key FOB from the Ramada Inn out of Butte, Montana. The last key and fob are from Billings, Montana, New Grand Hotel, room 300. The hotel opened in 1890. This type of skeleton key was used till late 1940's. The key FOB reads, “New Grand Hotel Billings, Mont. 300,” and states, “Drop In Any Mail Box We Guarantee Postage”; it is also marked on the back, “W.W. Wilcox Mfg. Co. Chicago.” The condition of these fobs is good, with some wear to the Ramada Inn key FOB. The measurements are 4" x 2" for the first three FOBs and the last is 5" x 2 ¼" with a 3" skeleton key.
