For your consideration is a non typical Montana European Elk mount. This 6x1 is truly unique as the main beam on the left side stunted causing the brow tine to grow exponentially. One of the most common causes of non typical antlers happens when the buck or bull damages the pedicle or base where the antlers grow. This often happens at an early age or right after the animal has shed its antlers in the spring. If a buck or bull has a damaged pedicle, the animal will likely have non typical antlers. The skull is in good condition and maintains most of the ivory. Burls measure 8" on the right and 7.5" on the left. Mount measures 55" from crown to nose and is 29" wide.
