Featured in this lot is a Montana Territory leather ammo belt and holsters by R. L. Garritson, originating from the late 1800's. The ammo belt displays supple leather construction with 30 ammo loops fitting colt .45 bullets. The belt shows a nickel plated belt buckle with wonderful tooled designs across the piece. The two holsters are mirrors of each other and are designed for long barreled revolvers with tooled designs along the borders. The belt and holsters are each stamped, reading "R. L. Garritson -Maker- Mont. Terr.", in an oval design. The piece shows wonderful condition with some light wear across the belt. The belt measures 41" long by 2 3/4" wide with the holsters measuring 11" long by 4 1/4" at the widest.
