This is an original handmade Damascus bowie knife from the Montana Territory Knives of Bozeman, Montana. The knife blade has been forged from 396 layers of very high quality 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon which is then heated and folded creating the astounding “Damascus” steel. The knife shows a desirable raindrop Damascus pattern. The hollow grind full tang blade is then paired with this premium Crown Stag Sambar Antler grip. Sambar Stag Crown antler from India is one of the finest grip materials and is in high demand with a very limited supply due to the current ban. This Sambar Stag antler is pre-embargo and of a high quality. The knife also features black walnut and brass spacers with a solid brass hilt and blade spine guard. This knife has been handmade after the design of the original classic bowie knife owned and used by James Bowie at the Battle of Concepcion and the Siege of Bexar under Same Houston at San Jacinto. The knife has been paired with a Great American Bison Buffalo leather hand crafted sheath which has been partially hand tooled.
