This is an original Montana Territory Knives of Bozeman, Montana knife showing an artful trout scrimshaw artwork. The blade has been forged from 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon, which is then heated and folded into 396 layers, creating the astounding “Damascus” steel. The knife shows a wonderful raindrop Damascus pattern. The hollow grind full tang blade has been paired with a set of nice white wild animal Buffalo bone grips scales, which are secured with two small mosaic pins, two brass pins, and lanyard loop. The tang has been artfully hand vine filled. The knife is in brand new condition. The grips have also been artfully scrimshaw etched with image of a Montana trout chasing after fishing fly. The blade is stamped with the outline of the state of Montana "MT" in the outline with "Bozeman MT" underneath. The knife comes with a tooled leather sheath and stamped "MT Bozeman MT" with the outline of Montana. The knife measures 7 3/4" long with the blade being 3 3/4" long.
