This is an excellent Montana taken Wild Great American Bison Buffalo hide rug. The rug is in large trophy size and prized Winter fur hide, which is thicker with greater color. The American Bison, also commonly referred to as the American Buffalo or simply Buffalo, is a North American species of bison that once roamed the grasslands of North America in massive herds. The Buffalo is culturally considered at the heart of all things “Western” or “West”. This example of Wild Buffalo shows a very good overall condition with wonderful winter fur, beautiful color and a nice professional tanning. The piece would display very well on the wall, as a rug on the floor or over a piece of furniture such as a couch or chair. This is a large example of a Wild Buffalo Rug and is rare as it was not from a farm, but rather a wild hunt. Measures overall ___ inches long from the front to the end of the tail and is __ inches wide from shoulder to shoulder.
