This is an original Montana Territory Knives of Bozeman, Montana knife showing an artful wolf portrait scrimshaw artwork. The blade has been forged from 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon, which is then heated and folded into 396 layers, creating the astounding “Damascus” steel. The knife shows a wonderful ladder pattern. The hollow grind full tang blade has been paired with a set of nice white wild animal bone grips scales, which are secured with two small mosaic pins and a brass lanyard hole. The bone grips are etched across the side with a stylized wolf head design and smoke. The knife shows an outstanding clip point camp knife. The tang and knife spine have been artfully hand vine filled. The knife is in brand new condition and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, along with a Lifetime warranty. The blade is stamped with the outline of the state of Montana "MT" in the outline with "Bozeman MT" underneath. The knife comes with a tooled leather sheath and stamped "MT Bozeman MT" with the outline of Montana. The knife measures 8 3/4" long with the blade being 4 1/4" long.
