This is an excellent early vintage estate 14K Yellow Gold ring set with two Montana Yogo Sapphires and an old Diamond. The ring is hallmarked 14K and Treasureland (Treasure Land), said to be an old mid-to-late 20th Century Montana Jewelry shop. The two Montana Yogo Sapphires have been examined by a gemologist and Yogo expert and found to be fine authentic examples. The Montana Yogo Sapphire is a corundum stone found only in the Yogo Gulch, part of the Little Belt Mountains in Judith Basin County, Montana. The stones are known for their astounding cornflower blue coloring, a result of trace amounts of iron and titanium. The ring shows a nice Art Deco styling with nice 14K yellow gold construction with marque shape raised setting set down the center with three stones in 14K white gold. The two Montana Yogo Sapphires are approximately a total of .40 carats (each stone being approximately .20 carats in size). At the center is a nice VS like fine colorless natural Diamond; overall, the rings has an approximate size of 0.40 carats for the sapphires and 0.25 carats for the diamond (the stones are measured in setting and calculated with Dendritcs calculator). Each stone is round brilliant cut. Truly a fine authentic example. Ring is a size 9.
