Included in this lot is a pair of moon phase mask wall hanger shields by White Buffalo Woman. Katie Krogh, also known as White Buffalo Woman, was born and raised near the Fort Hall Indian Reservation and was heavily influenced by the culture. She fell in love with the Native American culture and is known for her Native American style art, in particular "Moon Phase Masks". The pieces show face mask designs set on decorative leather pad with fur set around the face. The larger piece shows a shield design, with the bottom showing sections of colorful blankets and geometric designs. The larger piece shows a paper tag with an autobiography on White Buffalo Woman. The moon phase shields show good condition, overall. The smaller piece measures 11" wide by 24" long with the larger piece measuring 22" wide by 27" long.
