For your consideration is this first edition book, "My People, The Sioux", written by Chief Standing Bear. This is a very scarce and in demand telling of the history of the Sioux Nation by the Hereditary Chief of the Oglala Tribe of the Sioux Nation, Chief Standing Bear. The book is bound with orange cloth boards with stamped decorative top and bottom borders and an illustration of a peace pipe; the front and spine of the book have lettering in brown. The book shows little wear and is in fine condition. The book measures 6" x 8.25" x 1.5".
