This is an beautiful Nan Emmett pottery rattle with iconic face or face mask pattern with Sergio Bustamante signature. The bottom is correctly signed SERGIO BUSTAMANTE. The piece shows a black-on-black pottery construction with beautifully sculpted figured face. Being hollow on the inside, it has stones or clay rounds for the rattle sound. The top face section has integral holes at the mouth and face, placed there by the artist and the top section has a unique textured finish with off grey blue coloring. The piece measures overall 4"H x 3.25"W x 2.5"D.*
