Featured in this lot is a Signed Limited Edition Nancy Glazier "Prelude" Lithograph, 1999, framed, 279/1200, First Edition. COA from Somerset House Publishing. A 6x6 bull elk is standing alongside two cow elk soaking the sunshine while a dark storm is brewing behind them in the background. Having grown up and lived in multiple Western states, Glazier is recognized as one of North America's premier wildlife artists, best known for her magnificent paintings of North American wildlife in their natural habitat, portrayed amid majestic backdrops. She prefers to paint her subjects from life and travels around the United States visiting national parks and game preserves in search of wildlife. Glazier was mentored and taught by renown collector, artist, and Cody Museum muralist, Adolph Spohr. Her original works are represented by one of America’s leading galleries. Her paintings have been featured at prestigious shows throughout the country, and two of her works hang in the Museum of Church History and Art in Salt Lake City. Artist's signature, "N. Glazier" is located with limited edition number 279/1200 in the bottom left corner, signature, "N. GLAZIER" is also on bottom right corner. This beautiful lithograph is in very nice condition, COA included. Mounted and glazed in a large rustic frame, no marring noted. Visible art measures 23"W x 33.5"L, frame is 30.25"W x 40.5"L x 1"D. Combined weight is 13lb, 14oz.
