Included in this lot is a framed oil painting of a Native American by Nancy McLaughlin Powell. Nancy McLaughlin Powell was a Montana artist noted for her skill depicting Indian faces and was the wife of famed Montana artist, Ace Powell. The painting shows the image of a Native American man. The painting is on black with the native in colors of red/brown and blue. The painting is signed on the left side, reading "Nancy McLaughlin Powell". The piece is set into a wood frame with a white border. The piece shows good condition overall. The frame measures 23" by 26".
