Featured in this lot is this single, Nathan Air Chime P2 model train air horn from the 1970-80s. The Nathan Airchime P-series, including the two-chime (P2) variant, originated in 1953 when Canadian manufacturer Airchime Ltd. refined its truck horns for locomotive use. This air horn only features the horn itself, not its connecting components. It is marked on both sides reading, "Nathan Air Chime" with one side showing the model reading, "P2". A piece of the connection fitting is broken but other than that, the horn shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use over the years. No major signs of damage is noted. It measures 16 3/4" L x 6 3/4" W x 6 3/4" H and weighs 4 pounds.
