Offered in this lot is a bronze and stone piece of a Native American warrior titled "Sentinel". The bronze shows a Native American warrior kneeling and holding a spear. The warrior is approximately 4" X 2" X 2" and the spear is 7" long. The Warrior is wearing a loincloth, a necklace, a bow and arrow quiver on his back and a Buffalo headdress. His war lance has three feathers and an arrowhead tip. This small bronze is mounted to a 9" X 6" X 8" piece of red, grey and black granite. This setting gives a reference to the image of a Warrior watching from the top of a rim rock, acting as a "Sentinel" for his people.
