For your bidding pleasure in this lot are two wood carvings by Doug Hicks. These beautiful Native American faces are carved in Cottonwood. Doug Hick has been carving for over 40 years. His work is highly prized and collectable. Most of his work is done in Cottonwood. These pieces are from '85 and ‘91. The 1985 carving also has beads and feathers attached to the carving’s "hair". The 1991 carving has red, white, and black painting on the "braids" of the Indian. Both carvings have hangers attached to the back. The carvings’ average measurements are 7" x 3" x 1 3/4". These carvings are in good condition and show no obvious signs of damage.
