Featured in this lot is this collection of Navajo sterling silver and turquoise earrings. The collection shows two pairs of earrings. The first pair is a dual feather dangle design with one pear shaped turquoise cabochon. The pair displays the Navajo artist’s hallmark of 'BB', indicating that it was designed by Benson Boyd. The second pair of earrings shows a dangle design with an oval shape cabochon and a border of twisted rope. The hallmark of 'F' is shown on the back of the earrings with a sterling mark underneath it; the hallmark belongs to Navajo artist Fannie Platero. The condition of these earrings is good, showing no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of these earrings are 2 1/4" x 1/4" and 1 1/2" x 1/2". The collective weight of these earrings is 10.5g.
