This beautiful necklace features five pendants of polished Chimney Butte Jasper commonly known as Bumble Bee Jasper. Bumble Bee Jasper is a combination of volcanic matter, anhydrite, hematite, sulfur, arsenic, etc. The lovely patterns on this stone often imitate the coloring found on bumblebees, hence the name. The yellow coloring is due to the presence of sulfur. Each of the fine pendants is accented by a sterling braided rope border and stamped bead accents. The back of the central pendant is stamped sterling and features the artist Betta Lee’s hallmark. The necklace measures 20 ½” when unclasped.
