For your consideration is this wonderful Navajo Banded Chinle Rug, circa early 20th Century. The Chinle rug style is named for the town of Chinle at the mouth of Canyon de Chelly. Characteristic of the Chinle style, this rug features horizontal bands, two of which contain chevrons. The rug also shows muted colors of cream, gray, brown, and red; also a relatively bright orange. The rug is in good condition for its age, It measures 29" x 56".
