Featured in this lot we have a Navajo Native American sterling silver, bear claw, and blue gem turquoise necklace. This piece displays a total of eight large bear claws with sterling silver bases each showing a cabochon of sleeping beauty turquoise. The necklace shows a total of 26 pieces of rough blue gem turquoise cabochons with sterling silver spacer beads. The clasp is constructed of sterling silver with pipe beads leading to a row of five graduating beads. The bear claws show good size and originally came from a black bear. The necklace is free of signatures or hallmarks. The piece shows good condition overall with some tarnish across the silver due to age. The necklace measures 24" long overall and the base to the tip of the longest claw measures 1 3/4" long.
