Featured in this lot is this Navajo Chinle Canyon de Chelly pastel rug circa 1960's. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction that shows a pastel likeness to the coloration with muted colors of light brown border with a filling of bands of stepped decoration including purple, bright light brown, white, and green coloration. The tassels are braided and complete with an extremely tight weave. The condition of this Navajo rug is rug is good and well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this Navajo rug is 44 1/2" x 32 1/2". The thread count of this rug is 135 threads per square inch.
