Featured in this lot is this Artifact leather wrapped pipe from Navajo craftsman Clara Vasquez. This pipe features a wonderfully and professionally crafted antler tine, wood, leather, and trade seed bead construction. The pipe features an antler tine mouth piece and a bowl made from a antler burr that shows a wrap decoration of trade seed beads that includes coloration of black, turquoise, yellow, and maroon. The pipe shows black painted goose feathers with cartridge covers and pieces of antler as beads decorating it. The pipe comes with identification that shows the artist name and affiliation with a description of their business replicating original Native artifacts. The condition of this Navajo pipe is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this Navajo pipe is 4" x 2 3/4" x 26 5/8". The collective weight of this Navajo pipe is 14oz.
