Included in this lot is a Navajo Native American Dave Skeets Wild Horse sterling silver bracelet. Wild Horse is a combination of magnesite and hematite mined in the Gila Wilderness area of Southern Arizona. Wild Horse is believed to be derived from the spotted brown pinto horse due to its resemblance. The bracelet features a large polished cabochon of Wild Horse gemstone. The gemstone is wrapped in a braided rope border and hand stamped design. The back of the bracelet is stamped with the artists hallmark “D. Skeets” and marked “Sterling”. The interior circumference of the bracelet measures approximately 6 ½”.
