Featured in this lot is this original rare hand crafted Buck Custom knife from Navajo Native American Indian artist, Dave Yellowhorse / David Yellowhorse. The knife utilizes an inlaid mosaic handle, boasting gem quality Kingman Spiderweb turquoise, oxblood coral, black onyx and rosewood. Additionally, the knife is decorated with an inlaid brass horse and finely etched brass accents. On the bottom of the handle it reads, "By Dave Yellowhorse" and etched on the blade it reads, "Buck / 112 / U.S.A.". The knife comes in a nice custom made box lined with red velvet and showing a presentation plaque reading, "Buck - Custom / Hand-Made by Navajo Artist, Dave Yellowhorse" in gold lettering. Overall, the knife is in like-new condition, though the box shows some very slight wear. The knife itself measures 7 1/8" long, with a 3" blade. The box measures 9 1/8" wide, 3" deep, and 1 5/8" thick.
