Featured is this lot of Vintage Navajo (Diné) Sterling Silver Earrings, Four (4) pair. The first pair are Sterling Silver hoop earrings stamped 925 and signed CTG, Connie Tsosie Gaussin. Of Picuris Pueblo and Navajo (Diné) heritage, Connie is the matriarch of an extraordinarily talented family of artists that includes Major Jerry E. Gaussoin Jr, David Gaussoin, Wayne Nez Gaussoin, and Tazbah Gaussoin, all of whom are nationally respected for their skills as jewelers and artists. The second pair are graduating Navajo pearls style dangle earrings stamped sterling and signed TB. The beautiful style of jewelry called Desert or Navajo Pearls are sterling silver beads traditionally made by Navajo (Diné) silversmiths. The third pair are large hoop Navajo pearl cluster dangle earrings. The large ear hoops contrast with the much smaller Navajo pearl clusters. Lastly, are a pair of French wire style sterling silver hearts. All the earrings are in nice condition, rich patina exhibited throughout. Total combined weight is 40.0 grams.
