Featured in this lot is this Navajo Diné Sterling Silver Multistone Necklace, Signed by Navajo artists Thomas & Rose Singer. The choker necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted multistone construction that features silver beads, Jet, turquoise, Tiger Eye, and carnelian. Cone ends are marked, "Sterling", sterling silver feathers and lower pendant are stamped on reverse, "T&R Singer Sterling". Lower pendant displays a bezel mounted oval shaped Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochon with braided silver rope on a stamped design sterling silver rectangular base. Tommy is thought to be one of the most important and greatest contemporary silversmith artists and his work is highly sought after. Tommy Singer was a Navajo silversmith who passed away on May 31, 2014. After his death, his wife, Rose, continued to create jewelry using designs Tommy created prior to his passing. This beautiful choker necklace is in wonderful condition, measures 19"L from clasp to clasp, pendant is 1.5"W x 2"L. Collective weight is 50 grams.
