Presented in this lot is an Original Navajo Doris Yazzie Candelaria Turquoise and Onyx Wood Inlay Pocket Folding Knife. The knife shows a single drop point blade showing a Stainless Steel construction that has excellent hand stamped hallmark, "DY Navajo", on the back of the blade, Rite Edge brand and logo is stamped on the front of the blade. Doris Yazzie, who worked under David Yellowhorse at one time, is a Navajo Indian artist who began making custom knives in 1989. The knife features a wonderfully and professionally crafted custom wood handle of wood inlays bordering pronounced spiderweb Candelaria turquoise cabochon inlays with sterling silver channels which border Onyx wood inlays. The condition of this beautiful Navajo turquoise and onyx inlay pocket folding knife is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. Knife measurements open is .375"W x 5"L with the blade 2.25"L; closed measures 2.875"L. Collective weight is 26.6g.
